BBQ Bucks Deal (Advance Purchase Only)

The general public may purchase the 2018 Cedar Rapids Admissions and BBQ Bucks Deal. Buy $20 in BBQ Bucks and get 2 free admissions. This deal is valid from until 6/20/18 at 6 p.m.. Must be purchased at the U.S. Cellular Center Box Office. Cash only please.

What are BBQ Bucks?

1 BBQ Buck = $1.00. BBQ Bucks may be redeemed at any BBQ vendor to purchase food or beverages and are great if you’re hosting your event at the BBQ Roundup or make the perfect gift for family, friends, or your neighbors! These may be purchased at the U.S. Cellular Center Box Office starting on May 2. May only be purchased in $5 increments. Cash only please.

Free Admission Lunch

Back by popular demand, the Cedar Rapids BBQ Roundup is excited to offer free admission to anyone that stops by for lunch on Thursday or Friday between the hours of 11am – 3pm.

BBQ Bandwagon

Free shuttle service, provided by NTS, will run from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm on Thursday and Friday. The shuttle will stop at designated street corners throughout the downtown area and drop patrons off at the BBQ Roundup entrances. See the maps here!

Parking

Parking is available around the McGrath Amphitheatre in downtown Cedar Rapids. Parking can be found in the following areas:

Street Parking –

Parking is located on the following streets:

  • 1st Street SW across from the main entrance:
  • 3rd Avenue and 3rd Avenue bridge
  • Patrons are encouraged to not park on residential side streets adjacent the McGrath Amphitheatre.
  • Metered street parking is free on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
  • Paid street meter parking ends at 6:00 p.m. M-F

Lot and Ramp Parking –

There are several lots and ramps open to the public for parking (Parking fees may apply) – For additional questions about lot or ramp parking please contact Park Cedar Rapids at 319-365-7275

  • Park and Ride Lot / Surface Lot – Lot 44- Corner of 8th Avenue and 2nd Street SE
  • Parking Ramp – GTC Parking Ramp – 201 4th Ave SE
  • Parking Ramp – 3rd Avenue Parking Ramp – 333 3rd Ave SE

The Cedar Rapids BBQ Roundup asks that all patrons avoid doing or bringing the following items to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all:

  • no smoking
  • no weapons
  • no pets
  • no outside food & beverage
  • no coolers
  • no glass containers
  • no professional photography
  • no video recording devices
